The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has announced the launch of 13 new shipping services across Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, and King Abdullah Port, in a move aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the maritime transport sector in the Kingdom and supporting supply chain resilience in line with the evolving dynamics of global trade.
The launch was carried out in collaboration with several leading global shipping lines, including Maersk, MSC, and CMA CGM, contributing to the strengthening of international logistics connectivity, expanding shipping routes to and from the Kingdom, and supporting import and export operations while improving overall logistics efficiency.
The new services provide significant operational capacity, with a total exceeding 97,099 TEUs. They include key services such as the JADE service with a capacity of 24,000 TEUs, as well as AE19 and SE4 services, each with a capacity of 17,000 TEUs, in addition to a range of other services that enhance container shipping capabilities across Saudi ports.
